Training Opportunities
(Updated
November 15, 2011) |
-
Florida Statutes require all poll workers
attend mandatory training prior to each election.
-
Class length varies according to the
position and are usually scheduled a month prior to each
election.
-
Poll workers are paid a total sum for training and working
on Election Day. However, if a person does not report to
their assigned precinct on Election Day training pay may be
forfeited.
-
Once selected to work, poll workers are notified regarding
date, time and location of training class and precinct
assignment.
