Natural Resources employees protect and conserve regional ecosystems as well as animal and plant species through habitat conservation, restoration, education and enhancement initiatives.  Whether implementing sea turtle habitat conservation plans on the coast, promoting water conservation, growing native plants for dune restoration, or designing protection plans for manatees and scrub habitat, Natural Resources employees work with the community to develop programs that benefit the public and the ecosystems we share.
