Accounts Receivable is responsible for billing and collecting rental
fees on county-owned properties, landfill fees, special property
improvement assessments, and other fees for goods and services. For more

Payable
Accounts Payable is responsible for paying all
invoices received by the county for goods and services purchased.
Vendors should submit invoices for goods and services purchased by the County of
Volusia to the initiating division or department. Verified invoices are forwarded from the
initiating division or department to Accounts Payable for payment.
Vendors checking on information of payment status first should contact
the initiating initiating division or department.

Certificate of Florida sales tax exemption

This certificate is issued pursuant to Chapter 212, Florida Statutes,
and certifies that the County of Volusia is exempt from the payment of
Florida sales and use tax on real property rented, transient rental
property rented, tangible personal property purchased or rented, and
services purchased.
