Pets at Volusia County parks

County-maintained dog parks:
Barkley Square Dog Park, DeLand
Gemini Springs Dog Park, DeBary
Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park, Ormond-by-the-Sea

Pets are welcome at county parks as long as their owners abide by the following rules.

• Pets must be kept under restraint and control at all times. The penalty for violation is $55.

• Owners must clean up after their pet. The penalty for violation is $55.

• Dangerous or aggressive animals will not be tolerated in any park. The penalty for violation is up to $5,000.
