WINTER BREAK TRIPS
This is a fun alternative for children during their winter break. Trips will include roller skating, movies and bowling.
Sites will be announced.
Ages: 6 - 15
Dates: Dec. 19 - 22 and 26 - 29, 2011
Time: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (unless otherwise stated)
Registration dates: To be determined
Materials needed: Lunch and spending money
Fee: $65 per week plus $7 registration fee if not previously enrolled in other programs*
TEACHER DUTY DAYS – FOR STUDENTS
Programs and trips will be offered for school children on teacher duty days and some holidays. Bus pickup sites will be announced.
Ages: 6 - 15

Time: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

OAK HILL TEEN CLUB
This club provides after-school adult supervision for youths during the school year. Boys and girls can enjoy games, receive homework help, participate in sports and more. The program begins Sept. 16, 2011.
Ages: 11 - 15
Dates: Fridays during the school year
Times: 7 - 9 p.m.
Location: Mary DeWees Park, Oak Hill
Fee: $10 registration fee*Special events
FREDERICK’S FREAKY FRIDAYS
Children ages 3 - 9 are invited to get a head-start on Halloween with Frederick’s Freaky Fridays at DeBary Hall Historic Site. Children will hear local ghost stories, make Halloween crafts and play games. The creepy series is named after Frederick deBary, the original owner of DeBary Hall. Costumes are optional.
Ages: Children ages 3 - 9 and their families
When: 3 - 4 p.m. every Friday in October 2011

Children up to age 10 can receive a personalized greeting from Santa this Christmas! Parents can have their children added to Santa’s mailing list by calling 386-736-5952 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, faxing 386-943-7012, or sending an e-mail to elves@co.volusia.fl.us. The request should include the child’s name and address. Requests will be accepted from Nov. 1 through Dec. 9, 2011.TOYS FOR KIDS SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
Proceeds from this two-game elimination tournament will
be used to buy toys for underprivileged youths in Volusia
County. Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams.
