The
white 1996 Jeep Cherokee belonging to missing 82-year-old
Alfonso Milian was found Tuesday morning unoccupied along
the side of County Road 200 in Flagler County. The Volusia
County Sheriff’s Office is currently coordinating with the
Flagler County Sheriff’s Office concerning the start of a
ground search of the area for Milian.
County Road 200 branches off
westbound from US Highway 1 and is a heavily wooded area.
Milian’s son contacted the Sheriff’s Office
on the morning of August 7, to report that he hadn’t seen Milian
in about two days.
Milian is 5’9” and weighs about
180 pounds. He has brown eyes and white hair. It’s unknown what
he may have been wearing when he left. Anyone who spots him or
has information on his possible whereabouts is asked to call the
Sheriff’s Office at (386) 736-5999.

p.m.
A body,
believed to be that of a missing Deltona man Alfonso
Milian, was found Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area
near where his vehicle was located earlier in the day.
The body was discovered approximately 175 feet from
County Road 200 in dense underbrush.
A local
citizen had reported to the Flagler County Sheriff’s
Office the location of the Jeep Cherokee at about 7:30
a.m. Deputies and K9 units from both the Volusia County
and Flagler County Sheriff’s Offices responded to the
location and began a search of the area. The body was
discovered at 1:15 p.m.
