Mission: To inform veterans and their dependents of benefits to which they are entitled, and to assist them in obtaining those benefits by filing claims and supporting documents that will justify their claims.

Volusia County's
Veterans Service Division assists all former and present members of the Armed Forces and their dependents in preparing claims for compensation, hospitalization, vocational training and other benefits and privileges to which they are entitled under federal and state laws and county regulations. Through the efforts of the staff, more than $147 million is distributed to veterans and their dependents each year.
