County extension offers class on parasite control Feb. 6

The University of Florida/Volusia County Extension will offer instruction on parasite control for sheep, goats, alpaca and llamas from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Volusia County Agricultural Center, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand. Registration and introductions begin at 8:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is required by Feb. 2 and may be made by mailing a $10 check made payable to “Volusia County Extension Fund” to: Volusia County Extension Service, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand, FL 32724. The fee includes handouts, lunch and refreshments.
