EMS MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD TO MEET APRIL 22
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Medical Advisory Board will meet
at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Volusia Room at the Daytona Beach
International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive, Daytona Beach.
The group is scheduled to discuss implementation of new protocols for
patients experiencing myocardial infarction, use of intraosseous
perfusion, and progress of an airway pilot study.
The purpose of the Medical Advisory Board is to advise the county
medical director and EMS division on EMS system issues, including
pre-hospital patient care protocols, research initiatives, hospital
emergency department interface issues, and new technologies and clinical
procedures.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida
