DEBARY HALL TO HOST CONGRESSIONAL ART DISPLAY

DeBary Hall Historic Site will display local entries in the 27th annual Congressional Art Competition from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in the historic stables.

U.S. Rep. John Mica sponsored the competition in the Seventh Congressional District and solicited entries from high school students in Volusia, Flagler, Orange, Seminole, Putnam and St. Johns counties. Selected works will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. The winning artists will be invited to Washington, D.C., in June for a ceremony in their honor to open the 2008 Congressional Art Exhibition.

There is no charge to attend the art exhibition.

DeBary Hall, 210 Sunrise Blvd., is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon - 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, please call Site Manager Amber Patterson at (386) 668-3840. To learn more about DeBary Hall, visit www.debaryhall.com.
