AUTHOR SUZANNE STREMPEK SHEA TO SPEAK AT VOLUSIA COUNTY LIBRARY CENTER APRIL 14

Suzanne Strempek Shea, author of five novels and two memoirs, will read from her forthcoming book, “Sundays in America: A Yearlong Road Trip in Search of Christian Faith,” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 14 at the Volusia County Library Center in Daytona Beach.

Shea’s bestselling fiction has been praised for its accurate rendering of the Polish experience in America. She has written memoirs that chronicle her radiation treatment for breast cancer and her experience working in an independent bookstore. Shea also was the winner of the 2000 New England Book Award.
