Library Advisory Board to meet Jan. 8

Volusia County’s Library Advisory Board will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at John H. Dickerson Heritage Library, 411 S. Keech St., Daytona Beach.

Members will discuss the library’s DVD and Internet use policies.

The advisory board makes recommendations to the County Council, county manager and library services director on matters relating to the development and improvement of Volusia County’s public libraries, services and programs.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in the proceedings should request assistance at least two business days before the meeting.
