COUNTY EXTENSION TO OFFER PESTICIDE TRAINING JAN. 11

CEUs, Review and Testing for Limited Pesticide Certification agenda [PDF]

The University of Florida/Volusia County Extension will offer continuing education credits, review and testing for limited pesticide certification Jan. 11.

Extension Agent Dana Venrick will conduct the training and testing from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Volusia County Agricultural Center, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand.

Topics include laws and regulations, pesticide application, handler precautions, and pest and weed management of ornamentals. Exams will be offered for limited commercial landscape maintenance and limited lawn and ornamental applicator certification.

The $30 fee includes lunch.
