Explore Volusia: Great Backyard Bird Count

Become a citizen scientist during this international event, held locally at Lake George Forest, 998 Ninemile Point Road, Pierson. Participants will learn how to download the Cornell Lab Merlin Bird ID app so they can help scientists identify birds.

Wear closed-toe shoes. All ages are welcome. Extra binoculars will be available for those who don’t have their own.
