Center open at Daytona Beach International Airport
A free business center is near
gate 6 in the secured second-floor concourse area of Daytona Beach
International Airport and is handicapped accessible. It allows business
travelers to catch up on e-mail, make copies, recharge their batteries
and make phone calls in an area created just for them. Additional
conference rooms, with full catering options, are available for
reservation.
The business center is open when the concourse is active and is offered
free to business travelers.
The center is a service of
Volusia County Government through its Economic Development Division.
“We are fortunate to have an
extremely user-friendly airport and we wanted to build on that
convenience by giving our business travelers a place to get a little
work done before or after a flight – and with some degree of seclusion,”
said Phil Ehlinger, director of Volusia County Economic Development.
“And if they just want to rest and catch up on the news, there’s seating
for them to do so.”
