Craig Air
Center announces new Bahamas service from Daytona Beach
The Bahamas remain in reach for Volusia County travelers. As of July 31,
Craig Air Center, a fixed base operator (FBO) from Jacksonville, is
operating a new Beech 1900 turboprop service between Daytona Beach and
Marsh Harbor, Bahamas. Vintage Props & Jets ceased flights between
Daytona Beach and the Bahamas earlier this summer due to high fuel and
operational costs.
Craig Air Center offers three nonstop flights per week - Monday,
Thursday and Saturday - from Daytona Beach International Airport’s
International Terminal. The Monday and Thursday flights depart at 10:30
a.m., arriving in Marsh Harbor at noon. The return flights depart Marsh
Harbor at 1 p.m., arriving in Daytona Beach at 2:30 p.m. The Saturday
flight departs Daytona Beach at 9:30 a.m., arriving in Marsh Harbor at
11 a.m. The return flight departs Marsh Harbor at 1 p.m., arriving in
Daytona Beach at 2:30 p.m.
Fast, quiet, and comfortable, the Beech 1900 C model aircraft has
seating for 19 passengers and excellent cargo capacity. Craig Air Center
is a full-service fixed base operator headquartered in Jacksonville and
has been in business for 23 years. Craig Air Center is an Aircraft
Research Group U.S. gold- safety rated charter operator whose fleet
includes Learjet aircraft and the twin engine Beechcraft King-Air
turboprop aircraft. Craig Air Center operates five aircraft available
for charter.
