Spay/neuter rebates available
Pet owners in unincorporated areas of the county and the City of DeBary are eligible to receive spay/neuter rebates up to $42.
Rebate applications are available from local veterinarians. Applications must be submitted to Volusia County Animal Services within 30 days of surgery.
To be eligible, animals must be vaccinated against rabies and have a valid County license.
The County’s rebate program began 1987, according to Animal Services Director Becky Wilson.
