Double Bridal Wreath forms a beautiful mound of gracefully arching stems that are  covered, in midspring, with masses of soft, snow white flowers.

Leaves
Diamond shaped leaves are 2" long, dark green on top, pale blue green beneath, and have toothed margins.

Flowers
Flowers are 1/2 inch in diameter with 5+ white petals.  Flowers are roselike in appearance and are borne abundantly in round clusters about 2" across.

Fruit
Information not available

Stems
Stems are wiry, reddish brown, and arch gracefully with the weight of the flowers.

Propagation
Propagation can be done by cuttings of green tip shoots in late spring and summer, or from seed.

Landscape usage
Reeves' spirea is an excellent choice for a mixed shrub border. It may also serve as a specimen shrub, in a small group, or alongside azaleas, which bloom at the same time.   If pruning is desired, it should be done immediately after the flowering.

Interesting Facts
The flower clusters can be used in dried floral arrangements.
