Overview: The primary function of the Human Services Activity is to evaluate and determine the eligibility of Volusia County residents for emergency and supportive services that assists the eligible recipient with not only the immediate crisis but also with a service plan of action that is designed to lead to self-sufficiency. Eligibility is based on grant and County requirements that include household income, expenses, and reason for crisis.
