Section 8 is a rental assistance program designed to help low- and very-low-income citizens obtain safe, decent and sanitary housing at an affordable price in the private market.
Written applications are accepted only during an open waiting list period.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) provides a network of community resources that helps people achieve economic independence and eventually eliminate the need for continued public assistance.
