- Denied admission to the Housing Choice Voucher Program?
- Terminated from Housing Choice Voucher Program assistance?
Are you a victim of
- Domestic violence?
- Dating violence?
- Stalking?
It is unlawful to deny/terminate assistance based on the above factors.
If you believe your rights have been violated:
- Submit a certification of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence or Stalking within 14 business days
- Submit a police report, restraining order, court recording of abuse, or certification of a licensed professional within 14 business days
- After your information is received, a member of the PHA staff will contact you to discuss the concerns you raise.
NOTE: If you feel that your termination or denial was a direct result of being a Victim of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, or Stalking contact your caseworker immediately.
