Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
Mission: The mission of the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) is established pursuant to the requirements of Florida Statutes, Section 420.9076, and as directed by the Volusia County Council. The AHAC’s mission is to review the established policies and procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, and adopted local government comprehensive plan of Volusia County and to recommend specific actions or initiatives to encourage affordable housing while protecting the ability of the property to appreciate in value, and other affordable housing issues as directed.
