Call to Order - 8:30 am

Attendance

Quorum: Yes

Chair’s Report: Chair asked Board to notice Legislative update on Family Home Child Care bill and Monitoring Schedule.

Minutes: Motion made by Kymberly Cook and seconded by Karen Bourbonnais to accept the minutes of the January 15, 2004 meeting. Motion passed.

Correspondence: Mrs. Sizemore – Family Home Child Care Licensure

Old Business: Motion made by Mary Lou Mirino and seconded by Dr. Martin to appoint Peggy Johnson as representative for the CFAB on the School Readiness Coalition. Motion passed.

Motion made by Mary Lou Mirino and seconded by Dr. Martin that Mary Bruno continue to represent the CFAB on the DCF Community Alliance. Motion passed.

New Business: Motion made by Maria Augustine and seconded by Marisa Shirley to allow agencies five business days to provide corrected information on their applications.

The application from Halifax Urban Ministries was received after the deadline.

Motion made by Mary Lou Mirino and seconded by Marisa Shirley to accept the application. Motion passed.

Public Participation: Agency Presentations

Advisory Board Participation: Mary Bruno, Chair, was recognized by the Board for her dedication and leadership as Chair of the CFAB and presented a gift.

Meeting adjourned: 4:30 pm.
