Correspondence: Board advised of change in Director of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Hugh O’Malley leaving. Jerutha Hough, Director of God’s Covenant Mission Center, addressed Board regarding summer camp as to how funding for summer camp sites is allocated. GCMC was not funded this year because Volusia County Leisure Services provided a camp site in Lake Helen. Mr. Williams stated the CFAB position is to utilize Volusia County Leisure Services as the primary provider for summer camp. In areas where Leisure Services does not provide a summer camp the CFAB would contract with agencies to provide service to unserved areas.
