Call to Order - 5:15 pm

Quorum: Yes

Chair’s Report: Board Chair set meeting date for application and allocation committee for August 31, 2004.

Minutes: Motion made by Dr. Henry Martin and seconded by Marisa Shirley to approve minutes of May 19, 2004. Motion passed.

Correspondence: Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties Correspondence pertaining to family day care home licensure – sender unknown

Old Business: Family Day Care Home Licensure – issue will be presented to County Council July 8, 2004

Motion made by Dr. Henry Martin and seconded by Maria Augustine to approve 2004-2005 funding recommendations made by the Budget Sub-committee. Motion passed.

New Business: Presentation by Ray Salazar on United Way’s allocation process Gail Camputaro of Council on Aging spoke regarding allocation process with regard to maximizing revenue

Barry Pollack of WORC spoke regarding allocation process regard special needs cost effectiveness/efficiency

Public Participation: Renae Gahagan of the Rape Crisis Center advised Board that Agency was still operating and services are being provided.

Advisory Board Participation: Board expressed appreciation to participants.
