Volusia County Economic Development Quarterly

Progress continues on the expansion of the county’s Deltona Regional Library and the creation of a 4,000-square-foot environmental learning center and 1,000-seat outdoor amphitheater at Lyonia Preserve. The $11.7-million project is scheduled to be completed this summer. The project will double the library’s size from 25,000 square feet to 50,000. The Deltona Regional Library is one of the busiest in Volusia County, with nearly 2 million transactions annually. A grand opening is planned for October 2009.
