Prehospital Standing Orders and Treatment Protocols

 

The following protocols are intended to secure the provision of uniform excellence in pre-hospital care to the citizens and visitors of Volusia County.  The Protocols also serve to drive other regional patient care initiatives, such as educational and quality improvement activities.

Prehospital Standing Orders and Treatment Protocols (double sided format): effective March 1, 2008
Prehospital Standing Orders and Treatment Protocols (single sided format): effective March 1, 2008

These Protocols have been authorized by the Volusia County EMS Medical Director under Article III, Chapter 46, Volusia County Code; Chapter 64E-2, Florida Administrative Code; and Chapter 401, Florida Statute.
