Low volume fleet maintenance vehicle
washing exemption guidelines
The following is a list of criteria which if met, would be
viewed favorably for consideration of exemption from Industrial Wastewater permitting by
the Central District of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Please note
that these are not Rules or Statutes of the State of Florida. Conformance with these
criteria does not automatically relieve a facility from permitting requirements. Each site
is evaluated on a case-by-case basis when being evaluated for the need of an Industrial
Wastewater permit. It is the ultimate responsibility of the owner of a potential pollution
source to seek out all applicable Federal, State, County and Municipal permit
requirements.
