Community InformationUPDATED EVACUATIONS
New areas under a mandatory evacuation include Hunters Ridge in Ormond Beach, a subdivision of about 1,000 homes, plus an additional 800 or so homes within a two mile area; the Bear Creek subdivision off State Road 40 west; Microflex on U.S. 1 north of Ormond Beach and Ormond Beach neighborhoods north and west of the Tomoka River.
These mandatory evacuations already have been given for the Ormond Beach area: from Airport Road north to Durrance Lane; Tymber Creek west to the power lines; the Aberdeen subdivision; (Williamson and Hand); the Spring Meadows subdivision off of Clyde Morris and Hand; north of Ormond Beach Airport including Pineland Trail by Hope, Joy and Timothy Streets.
