Q. What is our ISO rating?

A: The fire insurance rating for your property is a "5" if your property is in unincorporated Volusia County, within 1,000 feet of an approved water source, and within five miles of a County fire station.

The fire insurance rating for your property is a "9" if your property is more than 1,000 feet from an approved water source and within five miles of a County fire station.

If you live in Lake Helen, Oak Hill or Pierson, the fire insurance rating for your property is a "4" if your property is within 1,000 feet of an approved water source and within five miles of a county fire station. The fire insurance rating for your property is a "9" if your property is more than 1,000 feet from an approved water source and within five miles of a county fire station.

A: VCFS does not fill pools.
