Extrication/trauma alert
On May 24, 2008 a pick-up truck left Interstate 4 and ended up in the woods off of the eastbound lanes. Engines 6 and 15, Squad 12, Battalion 20, Division 11, Daytona Beach Fire Department and EVAC responded to the call. The patient was extricated from the vehicle by cutting the roof and transported to the hospital.
