Head On Accident on SR 415

On Sunday morning, July 30, 2006 Engines 34, 36, Squad 35, Battalion 30, Division 12, Sanford Tower, Seminole Engine, Seminole Rescue, Seminole Battalion Chief, three EVAC units, Sheriff's Office Air One, Air Care and Fire Star responded to a report of a head on motor vehicle accident with heavy entrapment. Upon arrival, three patients were classified heavily entrapped with four trauma alerts, including one trauma code. All four trauma alerts were transported by air units to trauma centers around Central Florida. Thirty-five individuals from multiple emergency response agencies were on scene. All of the responders worked as one body to provide the most effective response possible to the patients.
