Tractor Trailer Jackknives on I-95
On October 7 in the early morning hours, Engines 11, 13 and Battalion 10 responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer northbound on Interstate 95. Upon arrival on scene, the crews found the tractor trailer in the southbound lane next to the guardrail. The tractor trailer had touched the guard rail, jumped it and jackknifed. The driver and an occupant refused treatment. The scene was turned over to the Florida Highway Patrol for further investigation and hazard removal.
