Accident near LPGA Blvd.
On October 17, 2006 firefighters from Volusia County Fire Services and Daytona Beach Fire Department respnded to a two vehicle accident that happened in the west bound lane of International Speedway Boulevard near LPGA Boulevard. Traffic was backed up for a mile and took about 40 minutes to clear as emergency workers treated the injured and cleared the wreckage. Three patients were transported to Halifax Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
