Fire Extinguished at DeLand Business
Damage to this DeLand business on March 9, 2005, was estimated to be $1,000 (replacement of the sign) after the fire was extinguished by the first due unit, Engine 32. This loss is minimal compared to what could have been lost. The photos show the crew from Squad 35 checking for extension of the fire by removing the facade and wood front allowing them to see behind the sign.
