Skydive DeLand Airplane Crash
A crash of the plane that carries skydivers before they make their jumps at Skydive DeLand took place on October 3, 2005. Engine 42, Battalion 40 and DeLand Fire Department responded to the incident. The pilot of the aircraft was transported via the Sheriff's Office helicopter Air One to Halifax Hospital
