Safety Presentations Available to the Community
Volusia County Fire Services believes in the importance of keeping the community well informed on fire safety and other safety related issues. We offer the following services to our customers to ensure their well being:
- Extinguisher demonstrations and instructions on their use and capabilities are available.
- Safety presentations at school and daycares are available for local children.
- Motor vehicle accident extrication demonstrations may be scheduled for public events.
- Presentations to local homeowner associations regarding type and level of their neighborhood fire service are offered.
- Residential home safety surveys identifying potential safety hazards are available to homeowners.
- Blood pressure checks at shopping centers and health fairs are offered throughout the year.
