Fitness means many things to many people. It was once defined as “the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigor and alertness, and with ample energy to enjoy leisure-time pursuits and to meet unforeseen emergencies.”

Now fitness is defined in two major categories, aerobic and muscular. Both essential components of work capacity and both contribute to our health and safety.
