Joshua J. Wagner represents District 2 on the Volusia County Council. He took office in January 2009 and was re-elected to a second term in November 2012. District 2 includes South Daytona, Daytona Beach Shores, Wilbur-by-the-Sea and Ponce Inlet, as well as parts of Daytona Beach, Port Orange and unincorporated Volusia County.
Education
Mr. Wagner is a graduate of Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange. He attended Daytona Beach State College and the University of Florida, graduating with a bachelor's degree in advertising. Mr. Wagner earned his law degree from the Levin College of Law at UF.
Employment
Mr. Wagner is a local business owner and also manages the law practice of Joshua J. Wagner, PA. Before starting his practice, he was an assistant state attorney for the Office of State Attorney John Tanner.
Personal
Mr. Wagner and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and are fifth-generation Volusia County residents. They live in a beachside home from the 1930s a few blocks south of Dunlawton Avenue in unincorporated Volusia County.
