Volusia County has initiated the amendment
cycle for 08-2 which will be the second large-scale amendment cycle for
the year 2008. The following is a list of each of the amendments
associated with this amendment cycle. A link is provided to the staff
report for each amendment in the following list. For more information

01 - CPA-08-2-1 Lunsford Tract
Amend the Future Land Use Map from Environmental Systems Corridor,
Forestry Resource and Agricultural Resource to Conservation for
approximately 1,643 acres located on the north side of Pioneer Trail,
adjacent to the western intersection with State Road 44.

02 - CPA-08-2-2 Volusia 44
Properties, LLC Tract
Amend the Future Land Use Map
from Environmental
Systems Corridor and Forestry Resource to Conservation for approximately
2,272 acres located on the north side of State Road 44, west of the
intersection with Pioneer Trail.

03 - CPA-08-2-3 Krol Tract
Amend the Future Land Use Map from Environmental Systems Corridor,
Forestry Resource, Rural and Agricultural Resource to Conservation for
approximately 673 acres located on the west side of Tomoka Farms Road,
adjacent to the intersection with H.L. Ainsley Drive.

Amend the Future Land Use Map from Environmental Systems Corridor and
Agricultural Resource to Conservation for approximately 10 acres located
south of Rudman Road and adjacent to the eastern end of Prideaux Road,
southeast of Lake Ashby.

Agostini Tract
Amend the Future Land Use Map from Environmental Systems Corridor and
Forestry Resource to Conservation for approximately 20 acres located
northwest of Lonesome Dove Trail, between Rudman Road and Lopez Road,
southeast of Lake Ashby.

06 - CPA-08-2-6 Daytona Beach International Airport (DBIA)
Amend the Future Land Use Map from City of Daytona Beach Level Two
Residential, Airport, Existing/Potential Parks, Office Transition,
General Industry and Retail Commercial to County Public/Semi-Public. The
subject parcel is located on the north side of Beville Road to the east
of Williamson Blvd. in the City of Daytona Beach. An interlocal
agreement with the City of Daytona Beach grants the County authority to
administer planning and zoning within the DBIA.

guide the management of Florida State designated Scenic Highways within
Volusia County. Also, amend Figure 2-8 of the Transportation Map Series

Growth Implementation Committee 2005 Final Report
Amend the Future Land Use Element to incorporate Smart Growth
implementation tools by adding the Environmental Core Overlay (ECO) Map
to the Future Land Use Map series and further adding the associated
Goal, Objectives, and Policies concerning the ECO Map including
Conservation Development and Transfer of Development Rights.
