Amendment Cycle 11-1
Volusia County has begun processing the
11-1 Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment Cycle. A description of
each of the amendments included in the cycle and a calendar of public

Transportation Maps Update. A map amendment of figure
2-3, Volusia County Roadway Number of Lanes 2025 Map.

the School Concurrency Service Area maps based on School Board
changes to the attendance boundaries.

11-1-11: Local and District Park Definition. A text
amendment to Chapter 13- Recreation and Open Space Element to revise
the definitions for local and district parks.

11-1-12: Osteen Local Plan. A text amendment to eliminate
the agribusiness language from the Rural Estate designation, and
deleting the PUD requirement, policy OST 1.1.2, because the draft
land development regulations will implement the local plan
requirements.
