- 23 writers from all over Florida.
- Book sales and book signings by the
authors.
- Readings, talks and discussion groups by authors.
- Silent auction.
- "One Book: Lake Helen Reads" program
featuring Zora Neale Hurston's "Their Eyes Were Watching God." The
Florida Humanities Council will present Phyllis McEwen, actress,
portraying Hurston.
In historic Hopkins Hall,
on the corner of Connecticut and North Euclid avenues, Lake Helen.
Free Admission
Proceeds are used by the Friends of the Lake
Helen Public Library to supplement equipment purchases and children's programs.
