The ACE Gymnastics Daytona Beach Invitational is returning to the Volusia County Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, Saturday and Sunday Feb. 6 and 7. The event is in its 10th year at the facility.

Nearly 3,000 spectators, and 850 young competitors representing 13 states and Canada, are expected to attend the family-friendly competitions, which are open to the public. Tickets will be sold by organizers at the door beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Competitions run through 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 16 and under.

A popular venue for competitions, the Ocean Center arena has dozens of competitive arts and sports match-ups already on its 2010 calendar, including basketball, volleyball, karate, cheering, dance, and drill team championships.
