Building and Impact Fees

Fees may vary for your specific plans and location.  This is not a listing of all fees, but the following describes most of those that may be applied.  If your project is in one of the  cities you will obtain the applications from their municipal building department and you will need to register for the county impact fees.

Building Fee Schedules
General Building Fee Schedule for Construction Permits (effective Oct.1/08)
Detailed Building Fee Schedule (effective Oct.1/08)

Completion Fees for New Homes - these fees do not appear on the permit until the permit is ready for certificate of occupancy.
Stormwater Management Fee (unincorporated area only)
Garbage Collection Fee (unincorporated area)

Commercial Completion Fees FOR STORMWATER  - these fees are assessed for your project by Development Engineering based on square footage of impervious surface and do not appear on the permit until the permit is ready for certificate of occupancy.

Impact Fees effective April 1, 2008
Residential; unincorporated
Residential; cities of DeBary, Lake Helen, Oak Hill, and Pierson
Residential; all cities except DeBary, Lake Helen, Oak Hill and Pierson
Commercial impact fee schedule

Impact Fee Registration - for residential and commercial projects located in cities.  You may defer payment of impact fees until you need your certificate of occupancy.  Fee increases affect any unpaid balance.  Please remember that fees due are those in effect at the time of payment.
