Ethics/Public Records

The County of Volusia requires a high standard of ethics from its officers and employees and expects the same from its vendors and suppliers.  (Reference Florida Statute 112 and Ordinance Article XII, Section 12.01)

Officials, employees, or agents of the County of Volusia are specifically forbidden to accept gifts or gratuities.

Public Records Law: The County of Volusia is governed by Florida's Government-in-the-Sunshine Law, Section 286.011 Florida Statute (Open Meetings) and Section 119 Florida Statute (Public Records).
