Due Dates & Discount Information

The Revenue Division bills and collects property tax for 31 taxing authorities (County, Cities, School Board, Hospitals & State).

Property taxes become due and payable on Nov. 1 of each year and become delinquent April 1 of the following year. Tax bills are mailed to the most current owner and address of record. If you own property in Volusia County and fail to receive a tax bill in November, please contact one of our offices.

It is the property owner’s responsibility to know that taxes are due and payable annually, and to pay them before April 1 of the year following the year in which taxes are assessed. Click here to view the Florida Statute regarding tax liens and the owner’s responsibility to pay.

Important Dates
November 1 – tax bills mailed
