The Pet Vet Cruiser is a state-of-the-art mobile veterinary clinic for pet owners who qualify to have their pets surgically sterilized. This service will be available to the residents of the unincorporated areas of Volusia County.
The Pet Vet Cruiser will provide animal sterilization for low-cost and a reduced-fee to those that qualify.
The program’s mission is to reduce the number of animals picked up and euthanized by assisting economically challenged citizens to have their pets sterilized. Rabies vaccinations and county license tags may also be issued.
With the opening of the new spay/neuter clinic, the mobile Pet Vet Cruiser will continue to provide services throughout the county, visiting alternative areas once a week.
In January, the Pet Vet Cruiser will be at the following locations:
• Fire Station 23, 1850 Pioneer Trail, New Smyrna Beach: Jan. 4
• Fancy Fruit and Produce, 911 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City: Jan. 11
• Rockin' Ranch, 801 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach: Jan. 18
