V1-Madrid, Donna D. W/F 01-20-1946 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-18-09 at 2100 hours and 11-19-09 at 0645 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered her vehicle and stole some items. No signs of forced entry to the vehicle. No suspects. Case active.   

V1-Strine, Donna W/F 05-24-1932 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-17-09 at 2300 hours and 11-18-09 at 0900 hours, an unknown subject entered her residence while she was sleeping and stole her purse. V1 found the rear door to her residence unlocked when she woke. No suspects. Case active.   

On the above date and time, V1 reported that she and S1 were discussing child support issues. S1 became upset and hit V1. A verbal argument continued. S1 fled prior to Deputies arrival. Attempts to locate S1 met with negative results. SA 707 completed and passed onto night shift.   

On the above date and time, V1 reported that she and D1 were in a verbal argument. The argument escalated and D1 hit V1 in the face. V1 was treated and Deland Hospital for her injuries. D1 was arrested for simple battery / DV and transported to VCBJ.   

R1 recently learned that while V1 and V2 were playing at O1's residence, O1 asked V1 and V2 to perform sexual acts. V1 and V2 refused and left the residence. CID notified. DCF notified.   

R1 reported possible sex abuse involving two juvenile girls occurring over the past few months. On 11-19-09 R1 decided to contact law enforcement. DCF was notified and advised they would be sending an investigator. CID notified. VCSO Sex Crimes notified.   

On the above date and time, Deputies met with V1. V1 was in a verbal argument with staff at the above location. During the argument, V1 made statements indicating that he would hurt himself. V1 admitted to Deputies that he made those statements. V1 was Baker Acted and transported to ACT.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a missing 5-yoa child. Contact was made with the mother of the child who advised that at approximately 1700 hours, her son was outside playing on the trampoline. She checked outside minutes later and found the child and the families' dog both missing. Deputies arrived on scene and immediately launched a search for the missing child. The mother of the child advised she walked quite a distance into the woods at the rear of her residence and at one point could hear her child cry out, but was unable to locate the child. With nightfall fast approaching, the mother quickly returned home to obtain a flashlight but it had now become completely dark. Air One, V.C.S.O. bloodhounds, TCI bloodhounds along with various other agencies and local volunteers arrived on scene to help assist in the search for the child. The reverse 911 system as well as "A Child is Missing" notification systems were activated. The V.C.S.O. Command Post was also placed into action to handled incident support demand. After searching for the child for several hours, he was eventually located and found at approximately 2400 hours in thick brush. The child suffered minor scrapes and scratches due to the incident but was fine. He was reunited with his mother and returned home safely.
