V1-Crosby, Donald M. W/M 06-18-1956 N1-Crosby, Frances D. 02-17-1926 On the above date and time, N1 reported that she went to wake V1 for breakfast and found him unresponsive. Deputies and Fire Rescue responded. V1 was pronounced deceased at the scene. V1 suffered from multiple medical issues. V1's doctor advised he would sign the death certificate. Sgt. Richard responded. No signs of foul play.

Unknown person(s) made entry into the victim's residence via a kitchen window. Once inside, various jewelry items were stolen. Said incident took place between the hours of 0750 and 1450 hours while the victim was away from home. A person of interest was named. At this time, no other information is available. Case continued active to Deputy Mefford.
V1 and D1 reside together as family. D1 became enraged after accusing V1 of cheating on her with other women. D1 began punching V1 and throwing things around inside the residence. V1 left the residence as D1 continued to yell and scream outside at which point the Sheriff's Office was called to the scene. Upon arrival it was learned that all parties involved had already left the scene prior to Deputies' arrival. However, Deputies launched an investigation and located the parties involved. D1 was determined to be the primary aggressor and was arrested. V1 was not injured during the incident. D1 suffered a minor cut to her lip but did not require medical attention. D1 was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
(V1) Burke, Joseph W/M (66) 07-11-43 An unknown person(s) took a Bucks brand eleven foot jiggling fishing pole, $40.00 value and an unknown brand red fly reel, $10.00 value, from Burke's boat sometime between 0900 hours on 11-15-09 and 0600 hours on 11-17-09. There are no known suspects. Case worked by Deputy G. Rohm. Case status is active.
(R1) Nosbisch, Doug W/M (37) 04-23-72 An unknown person(s) made entry to four unlocked trucks that were parked in the parking lot of the Deland Truck Center business sometime between 1700 hours on 11-13-09 and 0800 hours on 11-17-09. The hoods were unlatched and the batteries were stolen from three of the four vehicles. There are no known suspects. Case worked by Deputy D. King. Case status is active.
(V1) Cafasso, John, E. W/M (78) 03-04-31 A Ruger P345 .45 caliber handgun was stolen from Cafasso's (V1) residence sometime between 1900 hours on 10-31-09 and 1027 hours on 11-17-09. There were no signs of forced entry. Case status is active and was worked by Deputy J. Nahoun.
MALLETT, JAMES (V1) THE VICTIM RETURNED HOME FROM WORK AND OBSERVED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS STOLEN FROM HIS RESIDENCE: 1- DIAMOND TYPE STONE "TENNIS BRACELET" VALUED AT $600.00 1- 32 INCH MAGNAVOX LCD HDTV VALUED AT $1500.00 1- DELL 15 INCH LAPTOP VALUED AT $450.00 1- GOLD IN COLOR WEDDING BAND (WOMEN'S) VALUED AT $250.00 1- A JAR CONTAINING CHANGE. NO ADDITIONAL LEADS OR SUSPECT INFORMATION AT THIS TIME. CASE ACTIVE.

Caroway, Michael, Thomas W/M (38) 12-23-70-- Operate Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Burgess, Jared B/M (19) 01-01-90--Warrant for Lewd/Lascivious Battery on Person 12 Years or Younger. Heath, Valerie, Christine W/F (21) 08-02-88--Comtempt of Court- Failure to Comply With Court Order.
(R1) Vaughn, Harley W/M (79) 09-19-30 An unknown person(s) made forced entry to a storage trailer and a garage on the property by prying the doors open. Several cases of motor oil and antifreeze were taken. A 10,000 pound electric truck type of winch in a box, and a 220 plug red arc welder were taken. Case worked by Deputy C. Lecates. Case status: Active.
(V1) Stackhouse, Joe W/M (58) 04-11-51 An unknown person(s) made entry into Stackhouse's unlocked 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck sometime between 2100 hours on 11-15-09 and 0730 hours on 11-16-09. A wallet containing credit cards, a paper bank envelope containing U.S. currency and coins, and misc. keys were all taken from the truck. Case worked by Deputy C. Lecates. Case status is active.
(V1) Rosekelly, Linda W/F (62) 10-04-47 Suspect: B/M, early twenties, short hair, with a b/m or b/f accomplice. Suspect vehicle: late 90's gray Buick passenger car. An unknown person(s) made forced entry to Rosekelly's residence by throwing a brick through a window. It appears that nothing was taken from the residence. A similiar incident with a brick being thrown through the window took place, see case number 09-36107. Case worked by Deputy D. King. Case status is active.
(V1) Frazier, Kimberly, K. B/F (46) 08-06-63 Suspect: B/M approximately 5'-07", medium build, medium length braided hair, approximately 35 to 40 years old. Suspect vehicle: red older model faded Jeep Cherokee. Frazier advised that she cashed her paycheck at the Bank of America on Woodland Boulevard then stopped at the Gate gas station on Woodland Boulevard to get gas. Frazier then traveled north on Woodland Boulevard, when she was in the area of the Brandywine shopping plaza a red older model Jeep hit her vehicle from behind. A black male got out and according to Frazier, pointed a gun at her, told her he knew that she had money, and told her to give him the money. Case worked by Deputy C. Lecates. Sergeant Nardiello notified District Two Commander- Captain Summers and District Two CID Sergeant Thoman via Nextel of the incident. Case is active to District Two CID.
(V1) Frey, Jack, George W/M (54) 03-09-55 Frey advised that his roommate had two female guests over to the house on 11-15-09 around 1800 hours. The two females went into Frey's bedroom to use the phone. Frey keeps his wallet containing his credit cards in his bedroom. On 11-16-09 when Frey attempted to make a purchase he noticed that a Riverside Bank ATM card, two Capital One credit cards, and his Florida drivers license were missing. Some of the credit cards have been used since they were taken. Case worked by Deputy D. King. Case status is active.

Person(s) unknown gained forced entry into the victim's residence and stole various jewelry items from inside. Two air pistols were also stolen. Said incident took place between the dates of 11-13-09 and 11-15-09 while the victim was away out of town. Entry was made via the front door of the residence by prying it open. Case continued active to Deputy Winnie.
Unknown person entered into the victim's residence and removed a cell phone from inside. According to the victim, he was asleep during the incident but was awakened after observing an unknown perpetrator, who he described as being a "little kid," inside his residence. The victim attempted to give chase but the suspect quickly fled out the back door. The investigation revealed that entry was made via a back window. No further information is available at this time. Case continued active to Deputy Hunter.
D1 was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault and Simple Battery(DV). D1 reportedly got into a verbal argument with her daughter (V1) over cigarettes and car keys. D1, who was very intoxicated, then kicked V1 in the stomach during the brief quarrel over the cigarettes. As the argument continued, D1 later obtained V1's car keys. She then armed herself with a pair of scissors and threatened to "Kill" V1 with the scissors. Although V1 was in great fear for her safety during the encounter, no one was injured. D1 was arrested without incident and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
D1 got into a verbal argument with her mother (V1) who is over the age of 65. D1 reportedly became angry after V1 refused to give her money. D1 then became physical with V1 and slapped her in the face several times during the altercation. Said incident was witnessed by a next door neighbor who immediately responded to the scene to assist with ending the altercation before anyone got hurt. D1 was arrested and charged with Battery(DV) upon a person over the age of 65. D1 was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
V1 and D1 are husband and wife. On this date, D1 became intoxicated and began battering his wife for unknown reasons by hitting her several times in the chest. W1, V1 and D1's adult son, witnessed the incident and had to intervene to break up the altercation. V1 received minor bruising to her chest due to the incident but did not require medical attention. D1 was arrested without incident and charged with Simple Battery(DV). D1 was subsequently transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
D1 W/F 03-11-91 was taken into custody on an active Volusia County Warrant for Failure to Appear Court reference Grand Theft Auto. (No Bond Allowed) D1 was arrested without incident and transported to DJJ due to the warrant being issued when she was a juvenile.

V1-Powell, Yvonne B. B/F 04-23-1954 W1-Swint, Shawnte L. B/F 01-07-1980 W2-Lane, Milinia L. B/F 11-11-1976 On the above date and time, Deputies responded to the above location reference to a burglary that just occurred. W1 and W2 advised that 2-4 black males ran from the residence and fled in a vehicle. Air on responded and BOLO was issued for the possible vehicle. Deland PD also responded to the area. Several possible locations were checked for the vehicle and persons of interest. All met with negative results. V1 was contacted and returned to the residence. V1 advised that several items were stolen from the residence. Sgt. Richard responded. Case active. Copies to CID. Incident possibly linked to VCSO case # 09-36049
V1-Gaskins, Shirley B/F 03-19-1944 On the above date and time, V1 reported that on 11-15-09, between 1300 hours and 1530 hours, an unknown subject(s) forcibly entered her residence. The residence was ransacked. V1 was unable to determine if anything was stolen at the time of the initial report. Possible connected to VCSO case # 09-36043. Case active. Copies to CID.
Deputies responded to Hontoon Marina reference to a Burglary complaint. Upon arrival deputies were advised by the reporting party who also happens to work at the Marina, that he was driving by the Marina and observed a White SUV with Gold rims burglarizing the business. The suspect vehicle left traveling East on 44. Deputies Bolo'd the area but were unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.
Wright, Clay (D-1) W/M 08-01-81 D-1 was arrested on an open Volusia County warrant for VOP reference to burglary and grand theft. No bond allowed. D-1 was transported to the VCBJ without incident.

V1-Johnson, Phoebe P. W/F 05-05-1936 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-13-09 at 1800 hours and 11-14-09 at 1100 hours, an unknown subject(s) stole her utility trailer. No suspects.
V1-Williams, Alma 10-27-1991 On the above date and time, Deputies met with V1. V1 returned home on her own after staying the night at a friend's house. V1 was removed from FCIC/NCIC.
WILLIAMS, ALMA (V1) WATSON, ALLLISON (R1) R-1 REPORTED HER 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER V-1 MISSING. R-1 ADVISED THAT SHE LEFT THE RESIDENCE LEAVING HER TWO CHILDREN BEHIND AND HAS NOT RETURNED HOME. R-1 STATED SHE WISHED TO REPORT V-1 MISSING BECAUSE THIS WAS OUT OF CHARACTER AND SHE WAS CONCERNED FOR THE WELL BEING OF HER DAUGHTER. V-1 WAS ENTERED INTO FCIC / NCIC AS MISSING.
Cox, Barry B/M 08/23/1966 (D-1) D-1 was taken into custody on an active Brevard County warrant for Aggravated Stalking with a 50,000 bond. D-1 was transported to VCBJ.

**ATTEMPT** (V1) Tyler, Stephan, R. B/M (45) 10-03-64 Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a burglar alarm. Upon arrival deputies found a broken window on the east side of the building. It appears a cinderblock was used to break the window. The Pastor, Stephan Tyler responded, the building was checked, and it was determined to be unoccupied. Tyler advised that nothing was missing or disturbed inside the church. It appears that no entry was made into the church. Case worked by Deputy J. Nunn. Case status is active.
D1 and V1 are boyfriend/girlfriend and reside together. They were involved in an argument over the heating/cooling of the house. They went outside where D1 pushed V1 to the ground. D1 advised that V1 was calling him names so he pushed her to the ground. D1 was charged with simple battery and transported to VCBJ. Case worked by Deputy C. Lecates.
(V1) Shrider, Matthew, P. W/M (25) 03-03-84 S1 and S2 are former roommates of Shrider. On 11-11-09 Shrider noticed that his two gold wedding rings were missing from his bathroom drawer. The two rings have a combined value of approximately $400.00. Case worked by Deputy J. Carvajal. Case status is active.
CARTWRIGHT, WILLIAM M (D1) DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE KANGAROO STORE IN REFERENCE TO A POSSIBLE DRUNK DRIVER. DEPUTIES CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION AND DETERMINED THAT PROBABLE CAUSE EXISTED FOR AN ARREST. A CHECK OF THE DEFENDANTS DRIVING RECORD REVEALED HE HAD THREE PRIOR ARRESTS FOR D.U.I IN NEW YORK STATE. D-1 WAS CHARGED WITH FELONY DUI AND TRANSPORTED TO JAIL. CASE STATUS: CLOSED / CLEARED-ARREST-ADULT

(V1) Blanchette, Catherine W/F (45) 08-31-64 An unknown person(s) made entry to the rear door of Blanchette's home sometime between 1600 hours on 11-08-09 and 1700 hours on 11-10-09. The following items were taken: misc. jewelry, a blue Kodak digital camera, a black Playstation II console with controllers, and Playstation II games. Case worked by Deputy C. Lecates. Case status active.
One assist for FHP
An unknown person entered into the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole her garage door opener from inside. The vehicle was parked in the driveway at the time of incident and took place between the hours of 1400 and 1800. Additional investigative information was provided by the victim for follow-up. Case continued active.
Deputies were dispatched in reference to report of simple battery involving husband and wife. Contact was made with V1 who advised that she and her husband (S1) had a verbal argument. As he moved in closer during the argument, she felt intimidated and put her hands up to block him from getting any closer. He then grabbed her by the wrist and shoved her aside and left the residence. V1 complained of soreness on her left wrist and rib cage area. V1 voluntary responded to the hospital for medical treatment on her own. There were no signs of visible injury observed by Deputies. S1 had already left the scene prior to Deputies' arrival and was therefore unavailable for interview. His whereabouts were also unknown. Due to report of the above incident, a charging affidavit was filed against S1 for Simple Battery(DV) and forwarded to the State Attorney's Office for proper review. The above case information was also passed on to dayshift.
V1-Doak, Chris C. W/M 12-07-1970 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-06-09 at 0900 hrs and 11-09-09 at 0800 hrs, an unknown subject(s) forcible entered his enclosed trailer and stole several items. No suspects. Case active.

V1 and D1 are reportedly husband and wife. Both parties became involved in a verbal argument that eventually turned physical after V1 called D1 names. It was advised that V1 slapped and pushed V1 during the encounter and dialed 911 but later disconnected. Multiple items (Dishes) were found thrown about the residence during the investigation. However, no one on scene was injured. A further investigation determined that D1 was the primary aggressor at which point she was arrested without incident and charged with Simple Battery(DV). D1 was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
**Juvenile** Deputies were dispatched to the Volusia County Fairgrounds in reference to a recovered juvenile, Kimberly R. Berletich W/F 04-21-95 who had been previously entered into FCIC/NCIC as a missing person by DeLand PD. (See Case #DL09-7556) DeLand PD was notified and confirmed the initial entry. Berletich was later removed from FCIC/NCIC by DeLand PD and released into the custody of her mother.

On the above date and time, V1 reported that on 11-07-09, she and S1 were in a verbal argument. The argument escalated and S1 grabbed, pushed, and hit V1. V1 had bruises indicating an altercation. V1 and S1 have a child in common. SA 707 completed for simple battery / DV. Attempts to located S1 met with negative results. Passed on to night shift.
Ricardo Martinez-Cristano W/M 11-09-85--- No valid DL Pamela L. Ross B/F 05-13-61---- (Warrant) Writ of Bodily Attachment / Providing False Name to LEO Randall Scott Dancy W/M 09-07-62---- Operate unregistered vehicle
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office was contacted in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was advised that S1 had become physically violent with his sister, V1, and his girlfriend, V2. It was reported that S1 had been drinking and became angry at V2. He then drove V2 to V1's residence in an attempt to get V1 to see things his way. However, when V1 advised she had nothing to do with their business, S1 became angry at both V1 and V2. V1 was then struck on the neck. S1 then grabbed V2 by the hair while telling her to get out of his vehicle. S1 then drove away. Neither V1 nor V2 received injury from the incident. All attempts to locate S1 were met with negative results. Information passed on to dayshift units.
**Juvenile** It was reported on this date at approximately 1600 hours, Kendall P. Foster W/M 05-17-93 was allowed an independent outing to go to Daytona Beach. However, he has since failed to return to the Brian's House for boys as scheduled. At this time his current whereabouts are unknown. Foster was entered into FCIC/NCIC as a missing person pending a further investigation. Case Active.
**Juvenile** Matthew S. Coltharp W/M 07-1693 returned home safely and was removed from FCIC/NCIC.
**Juvenile** Tammy William B/F 04-09-92 returned home safely and was removed from FCIC/NCIC.
While Deputies were on scene at a location investigating a report of domestic battery, (See Cs# 09-35459) information was received from an anonymous caller advising that a 6-yoa child was previously injured at the same location. It was also advised that the mother of the child had failed to take the child to the hospital or render sufficient aid for the child's well-being after receiving an injury to her head. Deputies made contact with the child in question and did confirm that the child had sustained a head injury. When questioned as to how the injury occurred, both the mother and child stated it occurred on 11/02/09 while they were riding their bikes. The child reportedly fell off and struck her head. Due to the nature and swelling of the injury, medical personnel were requested at which point the child was transported to Florida Hospital/DeLand. A further medical evaluation later determined that the child needed to be transferred to another Hospital to undergo further medical treatment. DCF was notified and responded to the scene. The on-call CID investigator (Inv. A. Pagliari) was also notified and responded to the scene to conduct a further investigation. The Watch Commander (Lt. B. Bosco) was made aware of the incident. Case continued active to District 2 CID
MILLER, CAROL (V1) (Juvenile) (D1) WILLIAMS, ROBERT (D2) DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF STEVENS STREET AND MARION STREET, CASSADAGA, FLORIDA, IN REFERENCE TO A CONVEYANCE BURGLARY THAT JUST OCCURRED. UPON ARRIVAL CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE VICTIM, WHO ADVISED SHE OBSERVED D-1 AND D-2 ENTER HER VEHICLE. DEPUTIES LOCATED D-1 AND D-2 AND ON THERE POSSESSION THE STOLEN PROPERTY FROM THE VICTIM. (CIGARETTES AND A LIGHTER). A SHOW-UP WAS CONDUCTED AND THE VICTIM I.D. THE DEFENDANTS. THE JUVENILE WAS TURNED OVER TO HER FATHER AND THE ADULT MALE WAS TRANSPORTED TO JAIL.
BOLTZ, SHAWN (V1) DEPUTIES REPONDED TO 1205 EMMEL RD IN CASSADAGA REFERENCE TO A CONVEYANCE BURGLARY. UPON ARRIVAL CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE VICTIM WHO ADVISED UNKNOWN PERSON(S) ENTERED HIS VEHICLE AND REMOVED A SATELLITE RADIO FROM THE VEHICLE. CASE ACTIVE.
Rodriguez-Ramirez, Gerardo W/M 10-02-75--No Valid Drivers License.
R1 is the foster mother of V1. V1 who has a history of mental health problems advised she was having a bad day and wanted to kill herself. V1 made these statements to deputies as well as to her parents. V1 was Baker Acted and transported to Act. Case worked by Deputy T. Smith.
(V1) Izzo, Mary, T. W/F (54) 05-30-55 An unknown person took Izzo's seventy-two inch, zero turn, diesel Kubota lawn mower, model number ZD28F-72P from her yard sometime between 1700 hours on 11-07-09 and 1029 hours on 11-08-09. The vaule is approximately $9,000.00. Case worked by Deputy T. Smith. Case status active for a followup.

V1-Jones, Jaclyn W/F 09-04-1985 S1- Connor, Amanda C. W/F 04-15-1987 On the above date and time, V1 reported that on 11-05-09, between 0600 hours and 1030 hours, her vehicle was stolen. V1 suspected her roommate, S1. V1 advised that S1 did not have permission to take the vehicle. V1 wished to pursue charges. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC. Shortly after being entered, FCSO located the vehicle w/ S1 in it. FCSO took S1 into custody. V1 retrieved her vehicle. Vehicle was removed from FCIC/NCIC.
V1-Chiola, Michael On the above date and time, Deputies were flagged down reference to a suspicious vehicle parked in the woods near the above location. A check of the area revealed a vehicle reported stolen by V1. V1 was contacted and the vehicle returned to him. Vehicle removed from FCIC/NCIC.
V1-Mace, Jeffery L. W/M 08-12-1960 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-03-09 at 0800 hours and 11-04-09 at 1200 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered his unsecured vehicle and stole several items. No suspects.

**Juvenile** Courtney L. Branton W/F 06-06-95 was reported missing by her mother. It is advised that Courtney came home from school (DeLand High) at approximately 1600, but later left home again by unknown means in an unknown direction of travel. It was also reported that Courtney had recently been disciplined and had her cell phone privileges taken away. It is believed that this may have possibly attributed to her leaving. At this time, Courtney's whereabouts are unknown. She was entered into FCIC/NCIC as missing pending a further investigation. Case continued active by District 2 CID
Kirk A. Phillips W/M 09-30-63 was taken into custody on an active Volusia County (VOP) Warrant reference Retail Theft. (Bond: $2500.00) Phillips was arrested at the above location without incident and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

V1-Parker, Mary A. W/F 06-29-1964 On the above date and time, V1 reported that between 11-01-09 at 1700 hours and 11-04-09 at 0900 hours, an unknown subject(s) stole her enclosed utility trailer. The trailer contained several items. No suspects. Trailer entered into FCIC/NCIC.
V1-Sodaro, Shirley A. W/F 05-13-1939 N1-McCulley, Rebecca A. W/F 05-22-1964 On the above date and time, N1 reported that she had not heard from V1 since 10-31-09. She became concerned and went to check on V1. N1 found V1 deceased. V1 did not have any major medical issues. Sgt. Richard responded. Due to the advanced nature of decomposition, CID was requested to respond. Major Case responded. Medical Examiner declined jurisdiction. Doctor advised he would sign the death certificate.

Unknown person(s) entered into the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole a purse which contained personal identification and other items of value belonging to the victim. The incident took place on this date between the hours of 2000 and 2100. Information concerning a possible (unknown) suspect's attempt to use the victim's stolen debit card is also being investigated. Case continued active by Deputy C. King.
Unknown person(s) entered into the victim's unlocked (Open) garage and stole a digital camera and GPS device from within a vehicle inside. No entry was made into the main portion of the residence. The incident took place while the victim was away from home sometime between the hours of 1715 and 2215 this date. Case continued active by Deputy Froscher.
The victim contacted the Sheriff's Office to report a burglary to his residence that took place sometime between the dates of 10-14-09 and 10-29-09. The victim is currently in the process of moving out of the residence but has now noticed that someone had entered the home through the unlocked garage door. According to the victim, unknown person(s) removed his 42 inch flat screen television along with other miscellaneous items from inside. No other information is available at this time. Case continued active to Deputy Seaman.
