The victim's body was discovered inside his vehicle in the 2100 block of Enterprise-Osteen Road. Initial reports indicated that the vehicle had run into a pole and ended up in a ditch. However, an autopsy revealed that the victim was murdered and did not die as a result of the impact of the crash. The victim resided at 2421 Church Street in Sanford and worked as a security guard for the Seminole County School District. He was driving a blue, 4-door 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis and reportedly was on his way to a girlfriend's home in Deltona at the time of his death.
